Danny Miranda was born in Brooklyn New York and moved to Long Island when he was two and lived there ever since. Long Island was where he began is love affair with music and where he began rehearing and performing with friends.

Danny's influences and musical palette range from Roots, Americana, Jazz, Pop, Heavy Rock and everything in between.

His touring experience began in the early 80's in and around the New York City club scene and quickly became the choice player for the likes of Brian May, Paul Rodgers, and many other top tier performers and musicians.

Whether playing arena rock or an intimate folk or jazz club, Danny fits the bill. A true student of the game and a masterful musician.

His Touring experience is a list of Who's Who in World Wide Music: From 1995 to 2004 Danny toured with Blue Oyster Cult performing on bass and vocals. From 2004 to 2009 Danny toured with Queen + Paul Rodgers' on bass performing on Electric bass, Upright bass, acoustic guitar and vocals! Beginning in 2010 Danny began touring with Meat Loaf on electric and upright bass and vocals. He still performs with Meat Loaf today! From 2015 to 2016 he toured with FOGHAT and in 2017 rejoined his good friends with Blue Oyster Cult and still tours with them today as well.

He has extensive Theatre experience playing in the pit for shows such as "We Will Rock You" from 2004 to 2006, "Mama Mia" from 2006 to 2009 and "Jerry Springer, The Musical" in 2016.

Danny began touring with Windborne Music in 2010 playing and singing on nearly all of Windborne's Orchestral shows. He has played with nearly every major American and many world wide orchestras.
